Monthly Membership Subscription & Cancellation Policy

Monthly Membership Subscription

Enrollment in Renaissance of Jiu-Jitsu is a continuous month-to-month membership subscription, not a one-time payment or pay-per-class arrangement.

By enrolling, you authorize Renaissance of Jiu-Jitsu to automatically charge the payment method provided each month according to your selected membership plan. Recurring monthly payments will continue until the membership is canceled in accordance with this policy.

We believe in rewarding consistency, not locking families into long-term agreements. Although there is no long-term contract, the membership continues from month to month until a cancellation request is submitted and processed.

Membership tuition is not based on attendance. Missing classes or discontinuing attendance does not automatically pause or cancel a membership and does not stop recurring payments.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Cancellation Policy

A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu membership may be canceled at any time by submitting a cancellation request directly to Renaissance of Jiu-Jitsu.

Upon cancellation, a final payment equal to one month’s current membership tuition will be charged. After the final payment is processed, the membership will end and no additional recurring membership payments will be charged.

Judo Cancellation Policy

A Judo membership may be canceled at any time by submitting a cancellation request directly to Renaissance of Jiu-Jitsu.

Upon cancellation, a $45 cancellation fee will be charged. After the cancellation fee is processed, the membership will end and no additional recurring membership payments will be charged.

Combined Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo Memberships

For members enrolled in a combined Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo membership, the cancellation charge will consist of:

• A final payment equal to one-half of the combined monthly membership tuition 

After these amounts are processed, the combined membership will end and no additional recurring membership payments will be charged.

Pausing or Canceling a Membership

The discounted starting or Active Member Rate is provided to reward continuous membership.

When a membership is paused or canceled, the discounted rate is no longer guaranteed. A member who later returns may be required to enroll at the current standard tuition rate, which is presently $180 per month, or at the standard rate in effect at the time of re-enrollment.

How to Cancel

Cancellation requests must be submitted directly to Renaissance of Jiu-Jitsu by:

• A conversation with an instructor, failure to attend, or removal of payment information does not constitute a completed cancellation. The membership remains active until Renaissance of Jiu-Jitsu receives and processes the cancellation request.

​Membership and Recurring Payment Authorization

I understand that I am enrolling in a continuous month-to-month membership subscription with Renaissance of Jiu-Jitsu and not purchasing a one-time class package.

I authorize Renaissance of Jiu-Jitsu to automatically charge the payment method I provide each month according to my selected membership plan. I understand that these recurring payments will continue until I cancel my membership in accordance with the Membership Subscription and Cancellation Policy.

I understand that:

• My membership is not based on attendance.

• Missing or discontinuing classes does not automatically pause or cancel my membership.

• A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu cancellation requires a final payment equal to one month’s current tuition.

• A Judo cancellation requires payment of a $45 cancellation fee.

• A combined Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo membership requires payment of one-half of one month’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tuition plus $22.50.

• Pausing or canceling my membership may cause me to lose my discounted membership rate.

• If I return after pausing or canceling, I may be required to enroll at the current standard tuition rate.

By pressing "Subscribe" I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to the Membership Subscription and Cancellation Policy and authorize future recurring payments according to these terms.
